What do you offer to OC Midwifery Customers?
I offer wisdom that has been passed down through many different lineages of midwives. Midwifery is not a job to me, it is who I am, it is my passion. I trust & have deep reverence for the pregnancy & birth process. Everything else I offer are different modalities of things that help with the process of pregnancy, birth and parenthood. With that being said, in addition to be a midwife and graduating from the only California State accredited midwifery school, Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery, I am a Doula, Lactation Consultant, Prenatal Yoga Instructor, CPR Instructor and a Emergency Medical Technician who is a provider in Neonatal Resuscitation.

What is your philosophy about birth?
I believe that birth is a profound rite of passage that every woman should be able to experience with being surrounded by options, love, and support. But all and all, I think Gerri Ryan states this best
"Deep within every woman is the ability to birth. When she has confidence in her own abilities, the encouragement and freedom to tap into her innate wisdom, and has the loving support of family, friends and professionals who believe this too, she will truly have a satisfying birth experience."
